Hasidic Jewish Man. A Hasidic Jewish man with a long white beard and long payot sidecurls is walking down the streets of the Jewish Quarter in the Holy City of Jerusalem.
Ultra Orthodox men typically have their full bodies covered. Clothing is mainly black, with some white color. You will recognize them because they wear black frock-coat or long jacket, white formal button-up shirt, and white socks pulled up till the calves.
They also have their heads covered with hats in different styles. On Sabbath and holiday festivals, Hasidic Jewish men normally wear large circular hats also known as a “Shtreimel” in Yiddish. A young Hasidic man begins to wear a shtreimel after marriage.
