Taj Mahal. The Taj Mahal, which means “The Crown of the Palace”, is an UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New Seven Wonders of the World. This bright white marble building is located in the indian city of Agra (Uttar Pradesh, India).
It was commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan as a mausoleum in the memory of his favourite wife, Mumtaz Mahal. It also houses the tomb of Shah Jahan himself. A love story as an inspiration to build this beautiful jewel.
